a little about me

Sarah Saum,

MOT, OTR/L, PPCES

I'm Sarah Saum, owner and pelvic floor occupational therapist of Restoring Core Connections! I am a wife and mom to three who keep me pretty busy!

I became passionate about pelvic floor dysfunction after going through pelvic floor therapy myself. At the time, I knew very little about pelvic floor dysfunction. I knew that I had diastasis recti but was unaware that some of the other more ā€œtabooā€ symptoms I was having were related, such as: painful intercourse, urge incontinence and coccyx (tailbone) pain. After learning about pelvic floor therapy and going through it myself, I knew that I wanted to empower other women with the knowledge that these issues are not something that you need to live with; but are symptoms that can be treated!

When I am not busy working or chauffeuring my three kids around, I enjoy exercising, running, reading and being out in the sunshine!
